Martin Keoghan
Martin Keoghan (born 9 December 1998) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right wing-forward for the Kilkenny senior team. Born in Tullaroan, County Kilkenny, Keoghan first played competitive hurling at St. Kieran's College, winning back-to-back All-Ireland medals in 2015 and 2016. He simultaneously came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Tullaroan club, winning minor and under-21 championship medals in 2016. Keoghan made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was selected for the Kilkenny minor team. He enjoyed one championship season with the minor team, however, it ended without success. He subsequently joined the Kilkenny intermediate team, winning an All-Ireland medal in 2017 before winning a Leinster medal with the under-21 team. Tullaroan GAA
Tullaroan is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Tullaroan in County Kilkenny, Ireland. The club was founded in 1884 and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. Tullaroan is the most successful club in the history of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship. History Tullaroan is the oldest GAA club in County Kilkenny. 2019–20 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship
The 2019–20 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship was the 16th staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's intermediate inter-county club hurling tournament. The championship began on 12 October 2019 and ended on 18 January 2020. On 18 January 2020, Tullaroan won the championship after a 3-19 to 5-12 defeat of Fr. O'Neill's in the All-Ireland final at Croke Park. This was their first ever championship title. Declan Dalton from the Fr. O'Neill's club was the championship's top scorer with 5-42. The 2017 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 54th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 24 May 2017 and ended on 9 September 2017. Waterford entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Cork in the Munster semi-final. Meath fielded a team in the championship for the first time in several seasons. On 9 September 2017, Limerick won the championship following a 0-17 to 0-11 defeat of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final. The 2017 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 34th staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1961. The championship began on 12 July 2017 and ended on 23 July 2017. Kilkenny entered the championship as the defending champions. On 23 July 2017, Kilkenny won the championship following a 2-23 to 2-18 defeat of Cork in the All-Ireland final. This was their fifth championship overall and their second title in succession. 2021 National Hurling League
The 2021 National Hurling League was the 90th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. The English county teams (London, Warwickshire and Lancashire) did not compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions. In February 2021 it was announced that the league would be delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games and that cancelling it would be a last resort. The league began on 8 May 2021. Eir Sport and RTÉ provided live TV coverage of the league on Saturday nights. TG4 broadcast Sunday afternoon games.
