Martin Hill (camera Collector)
Martin Hill is a former camera man who collects antique cameras, reels and other various filmmaking equipment. After making a few films, Hill decided to collect cameras instead. At one point he owned the Panavision PSR 35mm that George Lucas used to film the first ''Star Wars'' movie, which eventually sold for over $600,000. His collection included cameras that filmed blockbusters such as '' Gone With the Wind'', ''The Grapes of Wrath'', and ''Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid''. Martin Hill (cricketer)
Martin R Hill (born 1 April 1945) is a former English cricketer. Hill was a right-handed batsman. He was born in Quarry Bank, Brierley Hill, Staffordshire. Hill made his debut for Staffordshire in the 1966 Minor Counties Championship against Bedfordshire. Hill next played for Staffordshire in 1978, playing 5 further Minor Counties Championship matches. It was in 1978 that he made his List A debut against Devon in the 1st round of Gillette Cup. He made a further List A appearance, against Sussex in the 2nd round of the same tournament. In his 2 List A matches, he scored 20 runs at an average of 10.00, with a high score of 14. Martin Hill is a special effects artist. He was nominated at the 85th Academy Awards for his work on the film ''Prometheus'', in the category of Best Visual Effects. He shared his nomination with Charley Henley, Richard Stammers and Trevor Wood. In 2014, Hill was awarded at the 86th Academy Scientific and Technical Awards, an Academy Scientific and Technical Award, for the Spherical Harmonics-based Efficient Lighting System at Weta Digital. He shares this award with Nick McKenzie and Jon Allitt. Hill also won an Primetime Emmy Award. Martin Hill is a mountain ridge which connects Tussey Mountain to its east and Evitts Mountain to its west. Martin Hill is located in the Martin Hill Wild Area, which is a part of the Buchanan State Forest, in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, United States. The summit of Martin Hill is one of the few in the Commonwealth (U.S. state), Commonwealth which is void of any towers or transmitters; such equipment is located instead on a lesser nearby summit in the same mountain complex. Martin Hill is the second highest in Pennsylvania's Ridge and Valley Appalachians, the highest being Wills Mountain to its west at . Mount Freeman () is a prominent mountain, high, surmounting the base of Walker Ridge, northwest of Mount Lepanto, in the Victory Mountains of Victoria Land, Antarctica. Exploration and naming Mount Freeman was mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and United States Navy air photos, 1960–64. It was named by the United States Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Elliott R. Freeman, United States Navy Reserve, a helicopter aircraft commander during Operation Deep Freeze, 1968. Location Mount Freeman is in the Victory Mountains above the Borchgrevink Glacier to the south. It is at the center of a line of mountains to the north of the Borchgrevink Glacier from which alternating ridges and glaciers extend north to the Tucker Glacier.
