Martin Hall (rugby League)
Martin Hall (born 5 December 1968) was the head coach of Halifax from June 2006 until May 2010. He took over the head coach job from sacked coach Anthony Farrell. Hall previously played at Oldham ( Heritage No. 915), Rochdale Hornets, Wigan ( Heritage No. 878), Castleford ( Heritage No. 753), Halifax and Hull FC. Martin Hall played , and scored a try in Wigan's 30–10 victory over Leeds in the 1995 Challenge Cup Final during the 1994–95 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 29 April 1995, in front of a crowd of 78,550. After the 1993–94 Rugby Football League season Hall travelled with defending champions Wigan to Brisbane, playing from the interchange bench in their 1994 World Club Challenge victory over Australian premiers, the Brisbane Broncos. He was also the head coach of the Wales national rugby league team for 3 years between 2005 and 2007 and has had coaching stints at Rochdale Hornets and Hull Kingston Rovers. Martin Hall (archaeologist)
Martin Hall (born in Guildford, England) is a British-South African academic and educationalist who has written extensively on South African history, culture and higher education policy. He is a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Salford and is currently serving as the acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC): Transformation at the University of Cape Town. Early life Hall studied at Chichester High School For Boys, one of the two state schools in the United Kingdom at the time that prepared students for Oxbridge admission. He was the first in his family to complete university. He completed his bachelor's degree in archaeology and anthropology at Cambridge University in 1974. Martin Hall (Hendrix College)
Martin Hall is a dormitory on the campus of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. It was built in 1918 to a design by noted Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson. It is a three-story masonry structure, faced on dark red brick with stone trim elements. It has a wide central section topped by a gable roof, with projecting gabled sections at its ends. Its ground floor windows are set in arched openings giving it an arcaded appearance. The hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its architectural significance. Martin Hall closed for renovations in August 2021, as part of Hendrix College's Residence Hall Renewal Project. Martin Hall (Providence College)
Martin Hall, also known as the George M. Bradley House is a historic house on the upper campus of Providence College. The house was built in 1850 by architect Thomas Alexander Tefft in an Italian Villa style for Chief Justice Charles S. Bradley, a successful attorney who served on the Rhode Island Supreme Court. In 1926, the house and properties were purchased by Providence College. The house was given a wood-framed dormitory addition to its rear, becoming Guzman Hall, the college's first on-campus dormitory. It continued to be a dormitory, housing pre-ecclesiastical students, until 1962, when a new Guzman Hall was opened on land formerly included in the Good Shepherd property, which had been purchased by the college in 1955.
