Martha Revuelta
Martha Revuelta Jiménez (born September 6, 1986, in Mexico City) is a female beach volleyball and volleyball player from Mexico, who played during the Swatch FIVB World Tour 2005 playing with Teresa Galindo. Participating at the ''2003 SWATCH-FIVB U-18 World Championships'' in Pattaya Thailand, and partnering Diana Estrada, they finished in the 4th place, after losing the bronze medal match 21–19, 17–21, 15-7 from Frederike Fischer-Sandra Piasecki, from Germany. She also represented her home country at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games partnering Vanessa Virgen and winning the silver medal. That year she was the volleyball female recipient of the "Luchador Olmeca" Award. At the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit 2008 she won the gold medal at the Guadalajara Tournament. Volleyball At The 2007 Pan American Games
The volleyball competitions at the 2007 Pan American Games were held from 14 to 19 July for the women and from 23 to 28 July for the men. The competitions were held at Ginásio do Maracanãzinho, located near the Estádio do Maracanã. Competition format In both the men's and the women's competition eight teams participated of the tournament. The teams were divided in two groups of four teams each. The teams played against each other once within their groups. The two best placed teams of each group advanced to the semifinals. The teams which finished in the third and fourth place of their groups competed for the fifth and seventh places, playing the third-placed team of a group against the fourth-placed team of the other group. The Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup is a Continental Cup organized by NORCECA with teams from all over America ( North-, South- and Central America, and the Caribbean), that served as a qualifier for the World Grand Prix. Vanessa Virgen Zepeda (born July 11, 1984, in Manzanillo, Colima) is a female beach volleyball player from Mexico, who played during the Swatch FIVB World Tour 2005 playing with Alejandra Acosta and 2006, playing with Diana Estrada.
