Marshall Larsen
Marshall O. Larsen (born c. 1948) is an American businessman. He served as the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board of Goodrich Corporation from 2003 until its acquisition by United Technologies Corporation (UTC) in 2012. He now sits on the Board of Directors of UTC. Biography Early life Marshall Larsen attended the U.S. Military Academy and graduated with a B.S. degree in 1970. He also attended graduate school at Purdue University Krannert School of Management and graduated with a M.S. degree in 1977. Career He joined the company in 1977 as an Operations Analyst. Goodrich Corporation
The Goodrich Corporation, formerly the B.F. Goodrich Company, was an American manufacturing company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in Akron, Ohio in 1870 as Goodrich, Tew & Co. by Benjamin Goodrich, the company name was changed to the "B.F. Goodrich Company" in 1880, to BFGoodrich in the 1980s, and to "Goodrich Corporation" in 2001. Originally a rubber manufacturing company known for automobile tires, the company diversified its manufacturing businesses throughout the twentieth century and sold off its tire business in 1986 to focus on its other businesses, such as aerospace and chemical manufacturing.
