Marrow (band)
Marrow is an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band consists of three former members of the Chicago band Kids These Days, as well as one new member. History After the break up of Kids These Days, Macie Stewart and Liam Kazar (Liam Cunningham) were still interested in writing music and being in a band. In 2013, along with former bandmate, Lane Beckstrom, Marrow was formed. Matt Carroll, not a member of Kids These Days, also joined the group. The band released their first EP, titled ''Two'', in December of the same year. A single music video for both songs on the EP was also released. On September 4, 2015, Marrow released their debut full-length album ''Gold Standard'' via Foxhall Records. On November 19, 2015, Impose Magazine released a new song by Marrow titled "Fool". Tweedy is an American rock band composed of Jeff Tweedy, from the group Wilco, and his son, Spencer. The duo has released one album, ''Sukierae,'' in 2014. The elder Tweedy had planned ''Sukierae'' to be a solo record, but kept Spencer involved after playing together on early sessions. The group's album name references Susie, Jeff's wife and Spencer's mother, who was diagnosed with cancer during the composition process. Sima Cunningham
Finom (formerly known as OHMME, and Homme) is a rock band from Chicago, which singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist duo Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart formed in 2014. Since 2016, Matt Carroll has been FINOM's drummer. Background Both Cunningham and Stewart attended Whitney Young Magnet High School on the city's near west side. While Macie Stewart was in high school, she played keyboards and sang in Kids These Days. Adding electric guitar, too, Stewart co-founded Marrow with Cunningham's brother, Liam Cunningham (a.k.a. Liam Kazar), in 2013 after Kids These Days disbanded. Drummer Matt Carroll also played in Marrow. The Empty Bottle is a bar and music venue located at 1035 N. Western Avenue (Chicago), Western Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
