Marrie Wieczorek
Marrie Wieczorek is an English former football manager and player. She spent her entire career with Middlesbrough, some 20 years as a player, before becoming manager in 1996. Wieczorek earned 3 caps for England, and received the legacy number 47. She is the first female Middlesbrough player to play for England. Playing career Wieczorek was a founding member of Cleveland Spartans, who played in the Nottinghamshire Ladies League. She was part of the team who reached the 1982 WFA Cup Final, losing 2–0 to Lowestoft. The following season the club reached the quarter-finals, but were beaten 4–2 by Doncaster Belles. Wieczorek spent the last few seasons of her playing career as a player-manager. International career Wieczorek made her England debut on 1 May 1980, in a 2–1 loss to Belgium. Middlesbrough ( ) is a town on the southern bank of the River Tees in North Yorkshire, England. It is near the North York Moors national park. The FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division is a league at the third-level in the women's football league pyramid in England, along with the Southern division. These two divisions are part of the FA Women's National League and below the Women's Super League and Women's Championship. The league is played on a home and away basis, with each team playing each other twice, and points being awarded in the standard three points for a win format. St Mary's College, Middlesbrough
St Mary's College was a voluntary aided Catholic college situated in Saltersgill, Middlesbrough, England. Tracing its roots back to 1904, it was the only Catholic further education provision in the region of Teesside for over 50 years. In 2011, St Mary's College, along with two other Catholic schools, closed. Its buildings, staff and educational provision were merged with the other schools to form Trinity Catholic College, Middlesbrough. In 2018, much of the building previously occupied by St Mary's Sixth Form underwent an extensive renovation, becoming Postgate House, the headquarters of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust, which manages 27 schools across the Diocese of Middlesbrough.
