Marquis Wright
Marquis Jurell Wright (born July 5, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Samsunspor of the Turkish Basketball First League. He played college basketball for Siena Saints men's basketball, Siena College before playing professionally in Hungary, Israel, Romania, France, Dominican Republic and Turkey. Early life and college career Wright attended North Point High School in Waldorf, Maryland, where he averaged 16.6 points, 6.1 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 3.9 steals, leading the Eagles to a 24–3 record and a state semifinal appearance as a senior. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. SZTE-Szedeák, also known as simply Szedeák, is a professional basketball club from Szeged, Hungary. SZTE is an abbreviation of Szegedi Tudományegyetem, the Hungarian name for the University of Szeged.
