Marquis Maze
Tyran Marquis Maze (born March 2, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. He played for The University of Alabama from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, he became the lead receiver, punt returner, and kickoff returner for Alabama. Early years Maze was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Tarrant High School in Tarrant, Alabama. He played high school football at multiple positions, including tailback, quarterback, wide receiver, defensive back and punt and kickoff returner. During the 2005 and 2006 seasons, Maze had almost 3,000 all-purpose yards and more than 30 touchdowns. Maze was recruited by many of the country's top football programs, including the University of Alabama, University of Michigan, and University of Tennessee. The 2010 Florida Gators football team represented the University of Florida in the sport of American football during the 2010 college football season. The Gators competed in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), and played their home games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus. The Arena Football League (AFL) was a professional arena football league in the United States. It was founded in 1986, but played its first official games in the 1987 season, making it the third longest-running professional football league in North America after the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League (NFL) until the AFL closed in 2019. Harry Vincent Gilmer Jr. (April 14, 1926 – August 20, 2016) was an American football halfback and quarterback in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1993. Early life Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Gilmer attended and played high school football at its Woodlawn High School.
