Marcos Antônio da Silva Gonçalves (born 17 October 1989 in Prado, Bahia), commonly known as Marquinhos, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for CSA. Club career In 2008, Marquinhos was discovered in Vitória's youth squads and made his debut in the Campeonato Baiano. Later, on the Campeonato Brasileiro, he was considered to be one of the best young players of the season; playing almost every game in the first team despite being only 18 years of age. In November 2020, Marquinhos joined Hong Kong Premier League club Pegasus. The Campeonato Baiano is the football league of the state of Bahia, Brazil. The championship has been played since 1905 without interruption. 2020 format First stage: 10 teams are included in one group, playing once only against all teams in the group. The four best teams qualify to the semifinals, while the last-placed team is relegated to the Second Level. Final stage The four best teams play in a two-legged knockout tie, with the first facing the fourth and the second facing the third placed. The winner of each Semifinal qualify for the Finals, which occur in the same way. The winners of the finals are the champions. Taça Rio, or Rio Trophy, is an annual Rio de Janeiro football tournament. It is the second stage competition of the Campeonato Carioca, the state football championship in Rio de Janeiro. It has been organized since 1982 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. Vasco da Gama is the most successful club in the tournament's history, having won the title eleven times. The Taça Guanabara, or Guanabara Cup, is a football tournament organized annually since 1965 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. In its first four editions (1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968), the Taça Guanabara was a tournament in its own right, unrelated to the Rio de Janeiro league, and the winner would represent Rio de Janeiro in the Taça Brasil de Futebol national league competition. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, named as ''Copa Sudamericana'' (; pt, Copa Sul-Americana ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 2002.
