Marques Barrett Houston (born August 4, 1981) is an American Contemporary R&B, R&B singer, songwriter, and actor. A member of the R&B group IMx, Immature/IMx from 1990 until 2002, Houston went solo in 2003. As an actor, he is best known for his role as Roger Evans in the television comedy ''Sister, Sister (TV series), Sister, Sister''. As a solo artist, Houston has released a number of successful studio albums that went platinum in the United States. Early life Houston was born on August 4, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, to Michael and Carolyn Houston. He is the older cousin of B2K's J-Boog. Houston began acting at an early age. "Clubbin'" is the second single from Marques Houston, Marques Houston's debut album, ''MH (album), MH'' in the United States, U.S. and his debut single in the United Kingdom, UK. The song features Joe Budden and is the second track on the album. The "Clubbin'" remix was also featured and once again Joe Budden performed on the track, alongside R. Kelly, credited as Pied Piper. R. Kelly also wrote and produced the song. The single was Houston's biggest hit to date in both the United Kingdom, UK and the United States, U.S., peaking inside the UK top twenty at number fifteen and peaking inside the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100 at number thirty-nine. Jermaine Dupri Mauldin (born September 23, 1972) is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, record executive, entrepreneur, and DJ. Early life Jermaine Dupri Mauldin was born on September 23, 1972, the son of Tina (Mosley) and Michael Mauldin, a Columbia Records executive. Dupri's promising musical career began before he was even 10 years old. His father, also an Atlanta talent manager, had coordinated a Diana Ross show in 1982; to the delight of concert-goers, Dupri managed to get on-stage and dance along with Ross.
