Marq Porciuncula
Marq Porciuncula (born January 29, 1987 in Hamburg, Germany) is a German singer, songwriter and occasional actor of Filipinos, Filipino descent. Biography Marq Porciuncula was a prodigy in music and dance throughout his childhood. His growing interest in performing arts eventually led him to a casting for the German televised singing competition, Popstars, in July 2003. With over 13,000 participants, Marq was unexpectedly chosen and his life as a superstar unfolded. On November 3, 2003 Meiko, Akay, Ken and Marq were launched as Overground (band), Overground and their first single "Schick mir nen Engel" simultaneously claimed the number one spot on the Media Control Charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and received a Gold record. Inevitably, their debut album "It's Done" eventually achieved a Platinum record. ''Bravo'' is the largest teen magazine within the German-speaking Europe, German-language sphere. The first issue was published in 1956. History The founder of ''Bravo'' was columnist Peter Boenisch. The first issue was published on 26 August 1956 with thirty thousand copies printed, cost 50 Pfennig (equivalent to € in ). Marilyn Monroe's portrait graced the first published issue; the never-published dummy issue cover displayed Elvis Presley. The publication was initially subtitled as "the magazine for film and television" (). Issue number 13/57 was released on 31 March 1957 with the new subtitle "the magazine with the young heart" () as well as "film, television, pop music" () which disappeared soon afterwards. Jetix Kids Award
Jetix (stylized as JETIX) was a children's entertainment brand owned by The Walt Disney Company. The brand was for a slate of action/adventure-related programming blocks and television channels. Jetix programming mainly originated from the Saban Entertainment library, airing live-action and animated series with some original programming. Jetix was first launched as a programming block in the United States on Toon Disney on February 14, 2004, to compete with Cartoon Network's Toonami block, and in Europe in April 2004. By the end of 2004, Jetix began completely replacing the international Fox Kids channels around the world, the first being the French version in August 2004,campaignlive.co.uk. Echo Music Prize (stylised as ECHO, ) was an accolade by the , an association of recording companies of Germany to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. The first ECHO Awards ceremony was held in 1992, and it was set up to honor musical accomplishments by performers for the year 1991, succeeding the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis, which was awarded since 1963. Each year's winner was determined by the previous year's sales. In April 2018, following controversy regarding that year's ceremony, the Bundesverband Musikindustrie announced the end of the award. Comet
A comet is an icy, small Solar System body that, when passing close to the Sun, warms and begins to release gases, a process that is called outgassing. This produces a visible atmosphere or coma, and sometimes also a tail. These phenomena are due to the effects of solar radiation and the solar wind acting upon the nucleus of the comet. Comet nuclei range from a few hundred meters to tens of kilometers across and are composed of loose collections of ice, dust, and small rocky particles. The Goldene Stimmgabel (English: Golden tuning fork, Tuning Fork) was an annual prize awarded within the Germany, German music scene from 1981 to 2007. The prizes were awarded according to the number of records sold from October of the previous year to June of the year of the award, as determined by Media Control GfK International, Media Control. It was established in 1981 by Dieter Thomas Heck, who hosted the television gala award show every year since then. It was broadcast on either ARD (broadcaster), ARD or ZDF until the year 2000. From 2001 to 2007 the award show was broadcast by ZDF alone. In 2008, ZDF decided not to present the award and did not announce whether they would be resumed later, discontinued, or replaced with another award.
