Maronnier
Marronnier (마로니에) is a South Korean pop/ballad project group mostly active in the 1990s. Their song "Cocktail Love" was sung by guest singers Shin Yoon-mi, Choi Sun-won and Kim Shin-woo of Marronnier's third album released in 1994. "Cocktail Love" got huge popularity right after its release. However, The improvised group performed lip syncing with songs by Shin Yoon-mi and Choi Sun-won. The group in the Cocktail Love music video didn't sing at all on Marronnier's third album. There was a legal dispute between the record label because they stole Shin Yoon-mi's voice and arrangement rights. Shin Yoon-mi sang "Cocktail Love" live in court to prove her rights. Shin Yoon-mi won a copyright lawsuit against record label and regained 'Moral Rights of singers' and 'copyright for chorus arrangement'. Two Yoo Project Sugar Man
''Two Yoo Project – Sugar Man'' () is a 2015 South Korean television program starring various artists. The original 2-episode pilot aired at 22:50 ( KST) on Wednesday (August 19 & 26, 2015) under the name ''Two Yoo Project Searching For Sugar Man'' (). The regular broadcast of Season 1, hosted by Yoo Jae-suk, You Hee-yeol, Kim Eana and Sandara Park, kicked off beginning October 20, 2015, every Tuesday at 22:50 (KST), ended on July 12, 2016. Season 2 airs starting January 14, 2018, every Sunday at 22:40 (KST). Park Na-rae and Joy ( Red Velvet) join as MCs alongside Yoo Jae-suk and You Hee-yeol. The last episode of season 2 was aired on May 27, 2018. Season 3 is confirmed to air from November 29, 2019, every Friday at 21:00 (KST). Turtles (group)
Turtles () was a South Korean hip-hop group which debuted in 2001. The single "Airplane" (bihaengi) from their fourth album topped the KBS chart in September 2006. The lead singer and rapper of the group, "Turtleman" (born Lim Sung-hoon), died of a heart attack on April 2, 2008; he was found by his manager at his apartment. GFriend
GFriend (stylized in all caps; ) was a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015. The group consisted of six members: Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. They debuted with the extended play (EP) '' Season of Glass'' on January 15, 2015 and won several female rookie awards, garnering momentum early on despite being from a small company. GFriend continued their commercial success the next year with their third EP, ''Snowflake'', whose lead single " Rough" won first place on numerous music shows.
