Career She won bronze at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games in the Women's doubles and in the Women's singles. In 2007 she won the Carebaco International The Carebaco International is an international badminton tournament of the "Caribbean Regional Badminton Confederation" (Carebaco). Until 1999 the tournament was a closed event eligible only for Carebaco members, but to gain BWF World Ranking points .... Santa Cruz Del Quiché
Santa Cruz del Quiché is a city, with a population of 78,279 (2018 census), in Guatemala. It serves as the capital of the El Quiché department and the municipal seat of Santa Cruz del Quiché municipality. The city is located at , at an elevation of 2,021 m (6,631 feet) above sea level. It has an airport, Quiché Airport, located just south of the city. History Santa Cruz del Quiché was founded by Pedro de Alvarado, a companion and second in-command of conquistador Hernán Cortés, after he burned down the nearby Maya capital city of Q'umarkaj (or Utatlán, in the Nahuatl language). The oldest buildings, including a large cathedral and clock tower in the central plaza, were constructed out of the stones of the Q'umarkaj ruins by the Dominicans. Central American And Caribbean Games
The Central American and Caribbean Games (CAC or CACGs) are a multi-sport regional championship event, held quadrennial (once every four years), typically in the middle (even) year between Summer Olympics. The games are for countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the South American Caribbean countries of Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Carebaco International
The Carebaco International is an international badminton tournament of the "Caribbean Regional Badminton Confederation" (Carebaco). Until 1999 the tournament was a closed event eligible only for Carebaco members, but to gain BWF World Ranking points since 1999 the Carebaco International tournament became a level 4 open individual event, now part of the BWF Future Series. The tournament established since 1972, when four countries in the Caribbean Region with the fanatical badminton enthusiasts started an annual competition among themselves. These countries were Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname and Guyana. As the years progressed the membership of Carebaco increased to include Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Martinique.
