North Holland
North Holland ( nl, Noord-Holland, ) is a province of the Netherlands in the northwestern part of the country. It is located on the North Sea, north of South Holland and Utrecht, and west of Friesland and Flevoland. In November 2019, it had a population of 2,877,909 and a total area of , of which is water. The elections of the Senate of the Netherlands, Dutch Senate of 2011 were held on 23 May 2011, following the 2011 Dutch provincial elections, provincial elections on 2 March 2011.
