Marko Pridigar
Marko Pridigar (born 18 May 1985) is a retired Slovenian footballer goalkeeper. Club career Pridigar started his career in the youth squads of Maribor where he also signed his first professional contract. He made his debut in the Slovenian PrvaLiga at the age of 20 in a game against Nafta Lendava. During his first years as a professional he was competing for the place in the first team with another goalkeeper Marko Ranilović. He was the first choice goalkeeper during the 2007–08 and 2008–09 seasons as he played most of the league matches at that time. In the next season ( 2009–10) he lost his place in the starting eleven to Ranilović and played a total of eleven matches in the first league. During this period he was also injured for couple of months. Maribor ( , , , ; also known by other #Name, historical names) is the second-largest city in Slovenia and the largest city of the traditional region of Styria (Slovenia), Lower Styria. The 2008–09 Slovenian PrvaLiga was the 18th season of top-tier football league in Slovenia. The competition was officially called ''PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije'' for sponsorship reasons. The season started on 19 July 2008 and ended on 23 May 2009.
