Sir Mark Aitchison Young (楊慕琦, 30 June 1886 – 12 May 1974) was a British Administrator of the Government, administrator who became the Governor of Hong Kong during the years immediately before and after the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, Japanese occupation of the territory. Mark Young (basketball)
Mark Young is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Fairfield Stags where he holds program records for total free throws made and attempted. Young was selected in the second round of the 1979 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers and played professionally in Europe. High school career Young attended Brookline High School in Brookline, Massachusetts. As a senior, he was named New England's Athlete of the Year, while averaging 30.9 points and 18 rebounds per game. He finished his high school career with over 1,500 points and set a single-game school record with 42 points scored. College career Young accepted a basketball scholarship from Fairfield University, over Duke University and the College of the Holy Cross, to play under head coach Fred Barakat. Luke Joseph "Joe" Mark Scarpa Jr. (April 23, 1967 – February 25, 2016) was an American professional wrestler, known by his ring name Mark Young, who competed in the World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s and early 1990s, World Championship Wrestling, and many independent promotions. He was the adopted son of Chief Jay Strongbow. Early life Scarpa was a second generation wrestler; his adopted father was Chief Jay Strongbow who wrestled in the World Wide Wrestling Federation in the 1970s and 1980s. Career Early years (1986–1989) He was trained by Stu Hart and made his professional wrestling debut in 1986 for Stampede Wrestling in Calgary, wrestling as Mark Scarpa. The International North West 200 is a Northern Irish motorsport event established in 1929 for road racing motorcycles held on a street circuit known as ''the Triangle'' between the towns of Portstewart, Coleraine and Portrush in Causeway Coast and Glens. The course is one of the fastest in the world, with average speeds of and top speeds in excess of . The International North West 200 is one of around fifteen events run on public roads between April and October throughout Northern Ireland. It is the largest annual sporting event in Northern Ireland, with the race weekend attracting over 150,000 visitors from all over the world.
