Mark Yashaev
Mark Yashaev (מארק יאשאייב) is an Israeli photographer. Biography Mark Yashaev was born in Azerbaijan. At the age of nine years he immigrated to Israel with his family. Mark studied in photography department and received BEd from WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education. He received MFA in Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2013. Mark Yashaev started his photography work, documenting daily life of his immigrant family, producing a series of portraits, notable for intimacy. In his later work, Yashaev started to implement ideas of mounting photographs into an installation, including ready objects and exhibition space itself, creating a sculptural installations. Sagit Zluf Namir ( he, שגית זלוף נמיר; born 1978) is an Israeli photographer and educator. Biography Namir was born in 1978 in Kfar Saba. She is known for her non-standard representation of still life objects. She takes real life objects from their context and re-creates them as vulnerable personal images. Her photography is minimalistic with a delicate game of nuances. Namir graduated from WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education with a BFA. She teaches photography classes in WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education, Minshar School of Arts and Gavra School of Photography in Tel Aviv. Namir was teaching photography workshops in Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art from 2007 to 2009. She has served as one of the judges of the Local Testimony exhibition and award from 2016. The Petah Tikva Museum of Art is an art museum in Arlozorov Street, Petah Tikva, Israel. History The museum is part of Petah Tikva's Museum Complex. Most of the art at the museum (roughly 3188 items) is art in memory and perpetuation of others, and were collected by Yad Labanim. The building originally opened in 1952, and was the first of its kind in Israel, and the museum itself opened in 1964. Between 1987 and 1993, the museum's director was Dalia Levin. In 2004, the building was reopened after renovation of the building and cataloging the collection of artwork. At the time, Drorit Gur Arye had become the director of the museum. The Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art is an art museum that displays Israeli art, located on Abba Hillel Street of Ramat Gan, Israel. The museum was opened on 4 April 1987. History The building was built in the 1930s with the initial purpose of serving as an industrial plant.
