Mark Charles Edward Wright (born 20 January 1987) is an English television personality, football pundit, entertainment reporter, and professional footballer who last played for side Crawley Town. He is best known for appearing as a cast member on the first three series of ''The Only Way Is Essex.'' Wright gained more popularity after appearing on the eleventh series of ''I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (UK TV series), I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!'' where he finished as runner-up, and the Strictly Come Dancing (series 12), twelfth series of ''Strictly Come Dancing'', where he finished in fourth place. ''The Only Way Is Essex'' (often abbreviated as ''TOWIE'' ) is a British reality television series based in Brentwood, Essex, England. It shows "real people in modified situations, saying unscripted lines but in a structured way." Originally broadcast on ITV2 from 2010, the series was moved to ITVBe in October 2014. The first series consisted of 10 episodes and ran for 30 minutes, with a Christmas special following later in the year.
