Mark Warren (footballer)
Mark Warren (born 12 November 1974) is an English former professional footballer. Biography Born in Lower Clapton, London, Warren started his career at Leyton Orient. He was voted Orient's player of the year in 1996–97, but the following year was loaned out to Oxford United, for whom he made four appearances. In January 1999 he was signed by Notts County for £30,000. After three years in Nottingham, he signed for Colchester United in August 2002, before moving to Southend United in June 2003. In July 2004 he dropped into non-League and signed for Fisher Athletic. In 2006, he moved to King's Lynn to play under former Orient manager Tommy Taylor, and captained the club to the Southern League title in 2008. In September 2009 he signed for AFC Sudbury, but left the club after a single appearance and retired from football. Zoviet France (also known as :$OVIET:FRANCE:, Soviet France, :Zoviet-France: and latterly usually written as :zoviet*france:) are a music group from Newcastle upon Tyne in north east England. While often dissonant and made of industrial textures, their music also falls into the ambient music category. Formed in 1980, and remaining largely anonymous, the group has had a number of members; presently it consists of co-founder Ben Ponton and Mark Warren. Former members included Neil Ramshaw, Peter Jensen, Robin Storey (who now records as Rapoon), Lisa Hale, Paolo Di Paolo, Mark Spybey (who now records as Dead Voices on Air) and Andy Eardley. In 2005 Storey, Spybey and Eardley formed a new group, Reformed Faction. The band participated in the early-eighties underground tape scene. Mark Warren (September 24, 1938 –January 11, 1999) was an American television and film director. In 1971, became the first African American to win an Emmy Award for directing. He won for directing an episode of '' Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In'' featuring Orson Welles. Career Warren's career began in the early 1960s at the Canadian Broadcasting Company, where he became a producer and director in charge of variety programming. By the late 1960s, he was working in American television. Besides ''Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In'' he directed episodes of several popular television series of 1970s and 1980s including: ''Sanford and Son'', '' What's Happening!!'', ''Barney Miller'', and ''The Dukes of Hazard''. He also directed the 1972 feature film, ''Come Back, Charleston Blue''.
