'' Doctors'' is a British medical soap opera which began broadcasting on BBC One on 26 March 2000. Set in the fictional West Midlands town of Letherbridge, the soap follows the lives of the staff and patients of the Mill Health Centre, a fictional NHS doctor's surgery, as well as its sister surgery located at a nearby university campus. Daniel Hill (actor)
Daniel Hill (born 6 February 1956) is an English actor, he is known for his extensive work in television, theatre and film. Career He played the avaricious Harvey Bains, manager of the retirement home in '' Waiting for God'', alongside Stephanie Cole and Graham Crowden. He had earlier appeared with Martin Clunes and William Gaunt in the sitcom '' No Place Like Home''. Adrian Lewis Morgan (born 15 February 1973) is a Welsh actor, known for portraying the role of Jimmi Clay in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors''. Having appeared since 2005, he is the longest serving cast member on ''Doctors''. Early life Morgan was born in Beddau on 15 February 1972, and has one sister. Morgan attended Llantwit Fardre School, Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School, and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. At the age of 17, Morgan worked in a hotel serving breakfasts, but left the job after two weeks. In 1998, Morgan was involved in a car accident. Career Morgan's first role was as Tobias Ragg in ''Sweeney Todd'' at the Royal National Theatre. Jimmi Clay
Dr. Jimmi Clay is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''Doctors'', portrayed by Adrian Lewis Morgan. The actor joined the cast shortly after his role in ''Holby City'' came to an end. Morgan was a fan of the soap and was pleased to audition for a regular part. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 5 September 2005 and has gone on to become the programme's longest serving cast member. Upon his introduction, Jimmi is portrayed as being recently separated from his wife and being new to the medical profession. Before he was cast in ''Doctors'', he appeared in numerous professional stage productions and worked part-time as a dance teacher. Early life Lee was born on 16 May 1993 in Edmonton, London. Bear Sylvester is a fictional character from the BBC One, BBC soap opera ''Doctors (2000 TV series), Doctors'', portrayed by Dex Lee. Lee began filming for the role in June 2019 and Bear made his first appearance on 18 November 2019, in scenes that show him attending an interview to become the practice manager at the fictional Mill Health Centre.
