Mark Spreitzer
Mark Spreitzer (born December 16, 1986) is an American Democratic politician from Beloit, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing Wisconsin's 15th State Senate district since January 2023. Spreitzer represented the 45th Assembly district in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 2015 to 2023. Education Spreitzer received his bachelor's degree in political science from Beloit College. Career After graduating from college, Spreitzer worked as the assistant director of alumni and parent relations and annual support at Beloit College. He also served on the Beloit City Council from 2011 to 2015, including as City Council President from 2014 to 2015. On November 4, 2014, Spreitzer was elected to his first term in the Wisconsin State Assembly to succeed Janis Ringhand. He was reelected in 2016. Wisconsin's 15th State Senate District
The 15th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises western Rock County, parts of eastern and northern Green County, and southeast Dane County. It includes the cities of Janesville, Brodhead, Edgerton, Evansville, and Stoughton, as well as the western half of the city of Beloit. Tim Carpenter
Timothy W. Carpenter (born February 24, 1960) is an American politician and Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing the 3rd Senate district since 2003. He previously served 18 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly (1985–2003). Early life and education Carpenter was born on February 24, 1960, at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. He graduated from Milwaukee's Casimir Pulaski High School and attended Marquette University in 1978, before transferring to University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he received his bachelor's degree in political science and history in 1982. He continued graduate work at Milwaukee, but was interrupted when he was elected to the Legislature in 1984.
