Mark Sanchez (basketball)
Mark Sanchez (born January 17, 1987) is a former American-Mexican professional basketball player. Professional career Aris Leeuwarden signed Sanchez for the 2010–11 season, and later he re-signed to also play the 2011–12 season for Aris. Sanchez signed with the Austrian team ece Bulls Kapfenberg in 2012. He was brought back after his first season. In his second season, he was named the Austrian Basketball Cup MVP. With Kapfenberg he lost in the Finals of the Austrian league to Güssing, but Sanchez did get the league's MVP award. For the 2014–15 season he first signed with ALM Évreux Basket, but after he got cut by the team he signed with the Dutch club Donar on 5 November 2014. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. When on defense, they typically position themselves under the basket in a zone defense or against the opposing power forward in man-to-man defense. The 2010–11 Dutch Basketball League season was the 51st season of the Dutch Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands. Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden won the national championship by beating GasTerra Flames 4-3 in the finals. The season was decided in game seven in the Vijf Meihal in Leiden. Kapfenberg Bulls, also known simply as Bulls, is a professional basketball club that is based in Kapfenberg, Styria, Austria. History Since 1991, the Kapfenberg Bulls have played in the Österreichische Basketball Bundesliga, the highest Austrian professional basketball league. 2014–15 NBB Cup
The 2014–15 NBB Cup was the 47th season of the annual cup tournament in the Netherlands. Donar was the defending champion. The Final was played in the Landstede Sportcentrum in Zwolle on 29 March 2015. Donar defeated SPM Shoeters Den Bosch 70–78 in the championship game. Format In the first, second and third round teams from the Dutch second, third and fourth division participate. From the fourth round, teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the competition. Quarter- and semi-finals are played in a two-legged format. When a team form a tier lower than the DBL played a DBL team, one win is sufficient for the latter to advance to the next round.
