Mark Rankin is a music producer and engineer currently working in Los Angeles. He has 2 Grammy Awards for his work with Adele and multiple nominations with artists such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Iggy Pop, Weezer, Florence And The Machine and Foster The People. Like Clockwork
"Like Clockwork" is a single by The Boomtown Rats. It was the band's first to reach the Top Ten in the UK Singles Chart, peaking at No. 6. Described as "simple, cool", in concerts supporting '' A Tonic for the Troops'', the song's agitated, staccato bassline made it a common show opener. The B-side, "How Do You Do?" was a fast-paced punk/new-wave song, in the mould of the band's earlier work. However, the Irish version of the single, released on Mulligan Records, substituted the B-side with "D.U.N L.A.O.G.H.A.I.R.E", a tongue in cheek samba, discussing the spelling of the band's home town, written Dún Laoghaire but pronounced Dunleary. Jack Peñate (; born 2 September 1984) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. Early life Peñate was born in London on 2 September 1984, the son of an English mother and Spanish father. His maternal grandfather was author Mervyn Peake. He attended St. Olave's Preparatory School in New Eltham and Alleyn's School in Dulwich, then began studying for a bachelor's degree in Ancient World Studies at University College London, but dropped out at the end of the second year as interest from record labels grew. He also was a member of the National Youth Theatre. Career Music Peñate made his way up the ranks of the club and bar scene of London before he was signed by record label XL Recordings. Led Bib is a modern jazz group from London, England. Its fourth album, ''Sensible Shoes'', was shortlisted for the 2009 Mercury Prize. History Mark Holub, the band's drummer and leader, formed the group in 2003 while studying at Middlesex University. Their debut album, ''Arboretum'', won the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award in 2005. Their second album, ''Sizewell Tea'', followed in 2007. A limited-edition live album was released in 2008. The band's fourth album, ''Sensible Shoes'', was nominated for the 2009 Mercury Prize. ''Lungs'' is the debut studio album by English indie rock band Florence and the Machine, released on 3 July 2009 by Island Records. After working on various projects, Florence Welch formed a band which included Robert Ackroyd, Chris Hayden, Mark Saunders, Tom Monger, and former collaborator Isabella Summers. The album features production from James Ford, Paul Epworth, Stephen Mackey, Eg White and Charlie Hugall, with additional production by band member Isabella Summers. Bloc Party
Bloc Party are an English Rock music, rock band, composed of Kele Okereke (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards, sampler), Russell Lissack (lead guitar, keyboards), Justin Harris (bass guitar, keyboards, saxophones, backing vocals) and Louise Bartle (drums, percussion). Former members Matt Tong and Gordon Moakes left the band in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
