Mark Parry (musician)
The Manvils are a Canadian rock band from Vancouver. The band consists of the singer, songwriter and guitarist Mikey Manville, bass guitarist Dave Fenton and drummer Jay Koenderman. The Manvils have appeared on stage with Stereophonics, Suicide Girls, The Bellrays, The Horror Pops. Metric, De La Soul, Jarvis Cocker, Bif Naked, Sonic Youth, Ben Harper and The Relentless7, Daniel Wesley and Dragonette. The band signed a recording contract with the Vancouver indie label Sandbag Records in early 2008. In 2008, The Manvils began writing and recording an album with the producer, Ryan Dahle (Limblifter/Age of Electric). Recorded at The Factory and The RecRoom (Greenhouse Studios), the new album was finished in early 2009. ''The Manvils'' was released in Canada on August 11, 2009, through Fontana North Distribution. Daniel Wesley
Daniel Wesley is a Canadian alternative rock musician from White Rock, British Columbia. Biography Singer and guitarist Wesley was born in 1981 in White Rock and raised in Brookswood, British Columbia, singing in choirs since elementary school and being part of ukulele and concert bands in high school. At age 15, he formed his first band, The Dropouts, and later was front man of the bands General Mayhem, Audiophile, and Replica. Wesley, who sometimes performs with a band aptly titled the Daniel Wesley Band, recorded his first two albums, ''Outlaw'' (2006) and ''Driftin (2007), independently. His third album, ''Sing and Dance'', proved to be a commercial success and garnered him much praise nationwide. The album also generated his most successful single to date, "Ooo Ohh". Lennon–McCartney was the songwriting partnership between English musicians John Lennon (1940–1980) and Paul McCartney (born 1942) of the Beatles. It is the best-known and most successful musical collaboration ever by records sold, with the Beatles selling over 600 million records worldwide as of 2004. "Helter Skelter" is a song by the English Rock music, rock band the Beatles from their 1968 album ''The Beatles (album), The Beatles'' (also known as "the White Album").
