Mark McLennan
Mark McLennan (born 28 April 1991) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a right back for Irvine Meadow in the Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region. He has previously played in the Scottish Premier League for St Mirren. Career McLennan began his career with St Mirren, where he also spent a loan spell at Stenhousemuir. On 13 May 2011, McLennan was informed he would not be offered a new contract at St Mirren, and would leave the club at the end of the 2010–11 season. He spent two seasons with Irvine Meadow before signing for Pollok Pollok ( gd, Pollag, lit=a pool, sco, Powk) is a large housing estate on the south-western side of the city of Glasgow, Scotland. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield position whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring. Stenhousemuir (; gd, Featha Thaigh nan Clach) is a town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies within the Falkirk council area of Scotland. The town is north-northwest of Falkirk and directly adjoins to Larbert in the west, where the nearest rail access is located. The villages of Carron and Carronshore adjoin Stenhousemuir to the east but to a lesser extent. At the 2001 census it showed that it had a resident population of 10,351 but according to a 2009 estimate this was revised to around 10,190 residents. The combined population of the four localities in 2011 was 24,722, representing about 15% of the Falkirk council area total. Pollok ( gd, Pollag, lit=a pool, sco, Powk) is a large housing estate on the south-western side of the city of Glasgow, Scotland. The estate was built either side of World War II to house families from the overcrowded inner city. Housing 30,000 at its peak, its population has since declined due to the replacement of substandard housing with lower-density accommodation. The main features of the area are the nearby Pollok Country Park, where the Burrell Collection is now housed, the ruins of Crookston Castle (within the north part of residential Pollok) which Mary, Queen of Scots once visited, and the Silverburn Centre, one of Glasgow's major indoor retail complexes. The Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region was one of three regions of the SJFA which organised its own distinct league and cup competitions.
