Mark John Lynch (born 2 September 1981) is an English former professional association football, footballer who played as a defender (association football)#Full-back, right-back. He began his career with Manchester United F.C., Manchester United and spent most of the 2001–02 season on loan with Scottish club St Johnstone F.C., St Johnstone, but failed to break into the Manchester United first team on a regular basis. He went on to play for Sunderland A.F.C., Sunderland, Hull City A.F.C., Hull City, Yeovil Town F.C., Yeovil Town, Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United, Stockport County F.C., Stockport County and Altrincham F.C., Altrincham before retiring from professional football in 2012.
