Mark Francis (born in London, England) is a former English-American soccer midfielder who played in the American Soccer League, American Indoor Soccer Association, SISL and USISL. He has also coached at the high school, college and professional levels. He retired from his position as the women's head coach of the University of Kansas October 23, 2023. Player Youth Francis attended Southern Methodist University, playing on the men's soccer team from 1983 to 1987. During his four seasons, he was a three time All American, second team in 1984, third team in 1985 and first team in 1986. He graduated from SMU in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in physical education. Professional In 1988, Francis signed with the Orlando Lions of the American Soccer League, remaining with them through the 1989 season. Mark Francis (born 1962) is a Northern Irish painter living and working in London, England. Life and career Francis was born in Newtownards, Northern Ireland and studied painting at St. Martin's School of Art (1980–85) before going on to the Chelsea School of Art where he completed his Master of Arts in painting in 1986. Francis has exhibited internationally both individually and in group exhibitions. Indeed, his "practice over the past thirty years has focused on making paintings with singular optical intensity — powerful, apparently abstract combinations of concentrated patterning and stark colour contrasts." As an emerging artist in 1995, Francis was involved in ''The Adventure of Painting'' at Kunstverein Düsseldorf/Stuttgart, Germany and ''From Here'' at the Karsten Schubert/Waddington Galleries in London. Mark-Francis Vandelli (born 14 October 1989) is an English television personality. He is best known for his role on the E4 series '' Made in Chelsea''. Career In April 2011, Vandelli joined the cast of semi-reality television programme '' Made in Chelsea'' for the first series. He is the only male cast member to appear in all series of the show to date. On 16 January 2016, it was announced that he would be competing in the third series of '' The Jump''. Mark Anthony Lewis-Francis, MBE (born 4 September 1982) is a retired British track and field athlete, specifically a sprinter, who specialised in the 100 metres and was an accomplished regular of GB 4 x 100m relay. A renowned junior, his greatest sporting achievement at senior level has been to anchor the Great Britain and Northern Ireland 4 x 100 metres relay team to a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Individually, Lewis-Francis has won the silver medal in the 100 m at the 2010 European Athletics Championships and silver medal in the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Men's 100m final and numerous indoor medals.
