Mark Fox (basketball)
Mark Leslie Fox (born January 13, 1969) is a men's college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach for the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball, University of Kentucky. Fox was previously the head coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball, Nevada Wolf Pack from 2004–2009, the Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball, Georgia Bulldogs from 2009–2018, and the California Golden Bears men's basketball, California Golden Bears from 2019–2023. He served the 2023–24 season as the Director of Student-Athlete Relations and NIL Partnerships for the Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball, Georgetown Hoyas. Coaching career Nevada Fox was the head coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack basketball team from 2004 to 2009. While with the Wolf Pack, Fox compiled an overall record of 123–43. The Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball program is the men's college basketball team of the University of Kentucky. 2004–05 Nevada Wolf Pack Men's Basketball Team
The 2004–05 Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball team represented the University of Nevada, Reno during the 2003–04 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wolf Pack, led by former assistant and first-year head coach Mark Fox, played their home games at the Lawlor Events Center on their campus in Reno, Nevada as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). After finishing atop the conference regular season standings, Nevada was upset in the quarterfinal round of the WAC tournament, but did receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as No. 9 seed in the Chicago Region. The Wolf Pack defeated Texas in the opening round before falling to No. 1 overall seed and eventual National runner-up Illinois in the round of 32. Mark Pope
Mark Edward Pope (born September 11, 1972) is an American collegiate basketball coach and former player who is head men's basketball coach at the University of Kentucky, his alma matter. As a player, Pope played power forward and small forward. He was Pac-10 Freshman of the Year with the Washington Huskies and then transferred to Kentucky, where he served as a team captain of its 1996 NCAA national championship team. After college, Pope spent almost a decade playing professionally in the U.S. and internationally. Pope has held various coaching roles at the collegiate level. Prior to taking the helm at his alma mater, he was the head coach at Utah Valley from 2015 to 2019 and BYU from 2019 to 2024. Kentavious Tannell Caldwell-Pope ( ; Caldwell; born February 18, 1993), also known by his initials KCP, is an American professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was named a McDonald's All-American as one of the top high school basketball players in the class of 2011. He played college basketball for two years with the Georgia Bulldogs in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), and was voted the SEC Player of the Year as a sophomore in 2013. Howard Samuel "Trey" Thompkins III (born May 29, 1990) is an American professional basketball player. Standing at , he play at the power forward position for Básquet Coruña of the Spanish Liga ACB. He played college basketball for the Georgia Bulldogs. High school career Thompkins attended the Wesleyan School in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. During his junior year, Thompkins decided to attend Oak Hill Academy where he averaged 15.8 points per game and 8.9 rebounds. The 2014 National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 32 NCAA Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2014 NCAA tournament. The annual tournament started on campus sites for the first three rounds, with the Final 4 and championship game being held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
