Mark Ezra
Mark Ezra is a film writer, producer, director, actor and published children's author. He is most noted for films such as '' Slaughter High'', '' Steal'', and '' Waking Ned''. Early life Mark is the son of Captain Peter and Italian language coach Gabriella Ezra. He was educated at Ampleforth College and went on to study film production at the University of Westminster. Film work Ezra's horror movie, '' Slaughter High'' (1986) (originally ''April Fool's Day''), was picked up by Vestron at the Cannes Film Festival for ten times its production costs. Slaughter High
''Slaughter High'' is a 1986 slasher film written and directed by George Dugdale, Mark Ezra and Peter Litten, and starring Caroline Munro, Simon Scuddamore, Carmine Iannaconne, Donna Yeager, and Sally Cross. An international co-production between the United States and the United Kingdom, the film follows a group of adults responsible for a prank gone wrong on April Fool's Day who are invited to a reunion at their defunct high school where a masked killer awaits inside. Though set in an American high school, ''Slaughter High'' was filmed in England under the working title ''April Fool's Day''. The film was re-titled after it was discovered that Paramount Pictures had a slasher film of the same name scheduled for release that same year. ''Slaughter High'' was given a limited theatrical release in the United States on November 14, 1986. The Odd Job
''The Odd Job'' is a 1978 British comedy film starring Monty Python member Graham Chapman. It tells the story of a man named Arthur Harris (Chapman) who is recently abandoned by his wife. He becomes so depressed that he hires an "odd job man" to kill him. Once his wife returns, Harris finds himself unable to cancel the contract. The concept originated as an episode of the London Weekend Television/ ITV series ''Six Dates With Barker'' in 1971, with Ronnie Barker as Arthur Harris and David Jason as the Odd Job Man (who plays the same role in the feature film). The role of the odd job man was originally intended for Chapman's friend, Keith Moon, but Moon was going through alcohol withdrawal at the time and in no real physical shape to play the part, although he did audition.
