Mark Ellis (Formula One)
Mark Ellis is a British Formula One engineer. He was most recently the performance director at the Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport Formula One team. Career Ellis studied mechanical engineering at the University of Southampton before joining Ricardo Consulting Engineers as an engine development engineer. Ellis' motorsport career began in 1988, achieving success with numerous teams in various categories, in positions ranging from leading the development of Super Touring cars to WRC 4WD transmissions. Honda Racing F1 Team
The Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda has participated in Formula One, as an engine manufacturer and team owner, for various periods since 1964. Honda's involvement in Formula One began with the season, and in 1965 they achieved their first victory at the Mexican Grand Prix. After further success with John Surtees, Honda withdrew at the end of the 1968 season due to difficulties selling road cars in the United States and Honda driver Jo Schlesser's fatal accident. Honda returned in as an engine manufacturer, which started a very successful period for the company. Loïc Serra is a French Formula One engineer. He is currently the performance director at the Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport Formula One team. Career Serra studied at Arts et Métiers ParisTech in Aix-en-Provence and Paris, specialising in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating from university, Serra started his career in motorsport with Michelin, working as a quality engineer in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, before moving to the company's main Research and Development centre in Clermont-Ferrand, France. David Pender Richards (born 3 June 1952) is the chairman of Prodrive, chairman of Motorsport UK (The Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association Ltd), former chairman of Aston Martin, a former team principal of the BAR and Benetton Formula One motor racing teams and as a co-driver, World Rally Champion in 1981. He lives with his wife, Karen, in Warwickshire and has three children.
