Mark Cocker (wrestler)
Mark Cocker (born 14 June 1982) is a Freestyle wrestling, freestyle wrestler, Ju Jitsu, Ju-Jitsu and Judo player who trains with Bolton Olympic Wrestling Club. Cocker is a British and English freestyle wrestling champion and has competed for England and Great Britain for fifteen years. He is also a Dan (rank), 1st Dan black belt in Judo under Steve Pullen MBE and 1st Dan Black Belt in Ju-Jitsu under Professor Trevor Roberts. Early career Cocker first got into martial arts after training with local instructor Trevor Roberts, and gained his 1st dan black belt in Roberts' Tetsu-no-otoko-ryu style of Ju-Jitsu. After showing a flair for grappling, Roberts began to coach him in the Russian style of combat known as Sambo (martial art), Sambo wrestling and eventually, he began to train at his local wrestling club in Bolton. Chinu XXX (born 6 June 1987) is a British freestyle wrestler. Usually known as Chinu Singh, he competed for England in the men's freestyle 125 kg event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won a bronze medal. Commonwealth Games Chinu beat Claude Mbianga from Cameroon in the wrestling 125kg men's freestyle "round of sixteen" (actually only four, since there were ten competitors in total, six getting byes) to progress to the quarter-finals where he beat Zaman Anwar from Pakistan. Marc Diakiese (born 16 March 1993) is a Congolese-born English professional mixed martial artist who competes as a lightweight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has also competed for Caged Steel and BAMMA. Background Aged 17, Diakiese began training in mixed martial arts to keep fit and stay out of trouble. Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (English: ''Martial Arts Confrontation'') better known by its initials KSW, is widely considered to be the premiere mixed martial arts organization in Poland and one of the leading in Europe. History Martin Lewandowski had been the manager of the Hotel Marriott in Warsaw when he met Maciej Kawulski in 2002. Kawulski was organizing one of the biggest sports expos in Poland at that time, and as both businessmen come from martial arts backgrounds, they quickly found a common subject. Danny Mack Gable (born October 25, 1948) is an American former folkstyle and freestyle wrestler and coach. Considered to be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Gable is a two-time NCAA Division I national champion, a world gold medalist, and an Olympic gold medalist. Gable was only the third wrestler to have ever been inducted into the United World Wrestling's Hall of Fame in the Legend category. On December 8, 2020, U.S. President Donald Trump awarded Gable with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Early life Gable grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship
The ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship, is an international submission grappling competition, organised by the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC). The inaugural tournament was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 1998. It has been held every two years since, except in 2021 due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Host countries have included Brazil, China, Finland, Spain, the UK, and the US. Competitors can only participate after winning ADCC trials or by invitation. While most athletes come from the IBJJF Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitive scene, it is open to competitors from any grappling style.
