Mark Chapman (broadcaster)
Mark Andrew Chapman (nicknamed Chappers) (born 11 October 1973) is a British television and radio presenter who, mainly working in sport, presents ''Match of the Day 2'' on BBC One and Sky Sports' coverage of the EFL Cup. He also hosts ''Saturday afternoons'' plus ''The Monday Night Club'' on '' 5 live Sport''. Early life Chapman was born in Rochdale, Lancashire, but spent most of his youth in Sale on the other side of the city of Manchester. He attended Manchester Grammar School, and during his time there developed an interest in radio, wanting to work for Radio 1 from the age of 13. He went on to gain a degree in French and Business Studies from the University of Hull. Broadcasting career Chapman began his career in 1996 as a continuity announcer on BBC Television, primarily working on BBC Two, before becoming the cricket correspondent for BBC North East radio.

Mark Sinclair Chapman (born 27 June 1994) is a Hong Kong-born New Zealand international cricketer who has played limited over internationals for Hong Kong and New Zealand. Currently playing for New Zealand, Chapman is a left-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He made his One Day International debut for Hong Kong against the United Arab Emirates in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 16 November 2015. He is eligible to represent New Zealand through his father. In February 2018, he made T20I and ODI debuts for New Zealand against England. Early and domestic career Chapman was born in Hong Kong to a Hong Kongese mother and New Zealander father. Mark David Chapman (born 1960) is a British Anglican priest, Theology, theologian, historian, and academic. He has been Vice-Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon since 2002, and Professor (highest academic rank), Full Professor of the History of Modern Theology at the University of Oxford since 2015. Early life and education Born in 1960, Mark David Chapman was brought up in Essex and Berkshire. He studied Politics and Philosophy at Trinity College, Oxford, graduating in 1983 with a Master of Arts (Oxbridge and Dublin), Master of Arts degree; he completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree there in 1989. Career Chapman became a Stephenson Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield in 1989. In 1992, he joined the staff at Ripon College, Cuddesdon. Since 2002, he has been Vice-Principal of Ripon College, Cuddesdon. In 2015, he was appointed Professor (highest academic rank), Professor of the History of Modern Theology by the University of Oxford.

Mark David Chapman (born May 10, 1955) is an American man who murdered former Beatles member John Lennon in New York City on December 8, 1980. As Lennon walked into the archway of his apartment building at The Dakota, Chapman shot Lennon from a few yards away with a Charter Arms Undercover .38 Special revolver. Lennon was hit four times from the back. Chapman remained at the scene reading J. D. Salinger's novel ''The Catcher in the Rye'' until he was arrested by police. He planned to cite the novel as his manifesto. Raised in Decatur, Georgia, Chapman had been a fan of the Beatles, but was incensed by Lennon's lifestyle and public statements, such as his remark about the band being " more popular than Jesus" and the lyrics of his later songs "God" and "Imagine". In the years leading up to the murder, Chapman developed a series of obsessions, including artwork and the music of Todd Rundgren. He is known for his roles as Chief Officer Henry Wilde in the film ''Titanic'' (1997), as John Lennon in the film '' Chapter 27'' (2007) and as Dr. Anton Arcane on the USA Network TV series ''Swamp Thing'' from 1990 to 1993. Career He attended the Guildford School of Acting where he studied ballet, speech, drama, and fencing. Mark Chapman (born December 27, 1994) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was most recently a member of the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football (AAF). Chapman played college football at Central Michigan. He was selected by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats with the first overall pick in the 2018 CFL Draft. Professional career CFL On May 3, 2018, Chapman was selected with the first overall pick in the 2018 CFL Draft by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, after trading up with the Montreal Alouettes. Despite this, Chapman remained unsigned through May 20, 2018, despite the Tiger-Cats signing several other players that they drafted. Chapman attended one of the Tiger-Cats early regular season games, but left without having signed a contract. NFL On May 14, 2018, Chapman received a tryout for the New York Giants of the NFL.
