Mark Blackhall
Mark Christopher Blackhall (born 17 November 1960 in Upney, Essex) is an English former footballer who played as a striker, mainly for Orient. Upney
Upney is a London Underground station located on Upney Lane in Barking, east London. It is on the District line between station to the west and station to the east. It is along the line from the eastern terminus at and to in central London where the line divides into numerous branches. It is in London fare zone 4. The station was opened in 1932 by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway on the local electrified tracks that were extended to Upminster from Barking. Kenneth Knighton (born 20 February 1944) is an English former footballer, coach and manager. He is most well known for his spell as manager at Sunderland during which time the club was promoted to the First Division, and he also managed Football League club Orient and non-league clubs Dagenham and Trowbridge Town. As a player, he played as a defender for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Oldham Athletic, Preston North End, Blackburn Rovers, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday. Playing career Knighton was born in Darton. After playing Barnsley schoolboy football and amateur football for Wath Wanderers whilst working as a trainee miner, he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers as a non-contract player in August 1959.
