Mark Bennett (rugby Union, Born 1969)
Anthony Mark Bennett (born 26 January 1969) is a Welsh International rugby union player. He made three appearances for his country, as well as representing Swansea RFC, Cardiff RFC and Neath RFC in the top division of Welsh club rugby, and Bristol RFC in English club rugby. Following his retirement from playing, Bennett became a strength and conditioning coach, holding the position of conditioning coach for the Welsh national team for four years. Rugby career Bennett made five appearances for Swansea RFC during the 1989/90 season. He moved to Cardiff RFC for the 1990/91 season, where he spend the majority of his playing career. It was while at Cardiff that Bennett made all three of his appearances for the Wales national team. His début came at the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa, against New Zealand. Mark Stewart Bennett (born 3 February 1993) is a Scottish rugby union footballer who plays as a centre for Edinburgh Rugby in the United Rugby Championship. Rugby union career Amateur career Bennett started his career playing for Cumnock before moving to Ayr RFC and winning the Scottish Premiership in 2011. Professional career He also made his senior debut for Glasgow in 2011 and secured a move to French side ASM Clermont Auvergne. A serious knee injury disrupted his season, and he returned to Glasgow in 2012 to join the Warriors on loan with the move being made permanent in 2013. On 14 February 2017, Edinburgh Rugby announced that they had signed him on a three-year deal and that he would begin playing for them from the summer. Mark Bennett (born 23 September 1963) is a Welsh former professional snooker player from Newport. Career Bennett was born on 23 September 1963 in Blackwood, Monmouthshire. After winning the Welsh amateur title in 1985, he turned professional the following year by qualifying through the pro-ticket series. He was ranked in the top 32 for four seasons between 1991 and 1995, reaching a high rank of 24 in 1993. Throughout his thirteen-year professional career he never reached a ranking final, but did reach several tournament quarter-finals and semi-finals. His last run to a ranking semi-final was in the 1996 Grand Prix. On the way he knocked out four seeded players, Peter Ebdon 5–3, Chris Small 5–0, Steve Davis 5–3 and Tony Drago 5–1, before losing 3–6 to Euan Henderson in the semi-finals after having led 2–0.
