Mark Belling
Mark Belling (born July 4, 1956) is an American conservative talk radio host for 1130 WISN in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is also a local newspaper columnist, former television host, and was a guest host for Rush Limbaugh. A native of Wisconsin's Fox Valley, Belling is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Radio Belling has been with WISN since March 1989. Before joining WISN he was news and program director of WTDY in Madison, Wisconsin, where he began his talk radio career. Belling also served as a radio news director in Springfield, Illinois; St. Joseph, Michigan; Benton Harbor, Michigan; and Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Belling currently hosts a three-hour weekday radio program, ''The Mark Belling Late Afternoon Show''. He discusses a wide variety of topics on his program, including sports, music, Milwaukee area politics, Wisconsin politics, and national issues. WISN-TV
WISN-TV (channel 12) is a television station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, affiliated with ABC. Owned by Hearst Television, it is the second-oldest television station to remain with the company in all of its various iterations behind flagship WBAL-TV in Baltimore. WISN-TV's studios are located on North 19th Street on the west end of the Marquette University campus, and its transmitter is located at Lincoln Park in the northeastern part of Milwaukee (next to the Weigel Broadcasting tower, which is used by CBS affiliate WDJT-TV, channel 58, and its sister stations). The 138th Kentucky Derby was the running of the Kentucky Derby in 2012, and took place on May 5 at 6:24 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) at Churchill Downs. Due to sponsorship, the race was known as the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands. The race was televised in the United States on the NBC television network. Captain Bodgit (foaled in 1994) is a millionaire American Thoroughbred racehorse who is a multiple stakes winner, including the Grade 1 Florida Derby and Grade 2 Wood Memorial. He is best known for his "flying" closing finishes in the first two legs of the U.S. Triple Crown races in 1997. Out of the mare Answering Echo, he was sired by Saint Ballado. Two-year-old season Captain Bodgit was a highly regarded two-year-old colt training in Maryland who won the prestigious Laurel Futurity, a graded stakes race, after winning both the Dover Stakes at Delaware Park and Bimelech Stakes at Laurel Park.
