Mark Andrews (politician)
Mark Andrews (May 19, 1926 – October 3, 2020) was an American politician from the state of North Dakota. He was a member of the Republican Party and served as a U.S. senator. Life and career Andrews was born in Cass County, North Dakota, where he attended public school. In 1944 at the age of 18, Andrews was admitted to the United States Military Academy. He quit in 1946 after receiving a disability discharge. He then attended North Dakota State University at Fargo, North Dakota, where he became a member of the Gamma Tau Chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity, and graduated in 1949. Andrews then became a farmer. He was a third-generation farmer on a Red River Valley plot that was started by his grandfather. During the 1950s he began to enter politics, serving on farmers' organizations and Republican committees. In 1962, Andrews ran for governor of North Dakota, losing to incumbent William L. Mark Elliott Andrews (born September 12, 1968) is an American film director, screenwriter, animator, he is best known for the 2012 Pixar feature film '' Brave''. He was the story supervisor for ''The Incredibles'', directed the short film ''One Man Band'' and co-wrote the short films ''Jack-Jack Attack'' and ''One Man Band''. Andrews studied animation at the Character Animation Program at CalArts. After that he was one of five who got a Disney internship, but was fired after three months. He is also considered to be Brad Bird's "right-hand man". Some of his student films have been featured at MOMA's exhibition ''TOMORROWLAND: CalArts in Moving Pictures''. Unlike most other CalArts alumni, he was not a huge fan of Disney films, and claimed he was a bigger fan of anime such as ''Kimba the White Lion'', ''Speed Racer'', and ''Robotech''. Mark David Andrews (25 November 1959 – 20 March 2020) was a University Boat Race and Great Britain international rowing (sport), rower, and distinguished lawyer. Profile Whilst in education at Abingdon School he gained colours for the rowing team. Mark Andrews (born August 9, 1965) is a former competitive freestyle swimmer from Canada, who competed for his native country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. In Seoul, Andrews finished in 15th position in the 50-metre freestyle, and in ninth place with the men's 4x100-metre freestyle relay team. Mark Gregory Andrews (born 21 February 1972 in Elliot, Eastern Cape (then Cape Province), South Africa) is a former rugby union player. Career He achieved his Junior Springbok colours in waterpolo while still at school. He switched to rugby union as his main sport and achieved honours while at school and was selected for the schools team to play at the 1990 Craven Week tournament. While at university he was selected for the SA Student team in 1993 and the SA Universities team in 1994. He played for 's winning Currie Cup team in 1995 and 1996. Andrews made his international test debut for South Africa on 11 June 1994 against England in Cape Town. He went on to play 77 test and 13 mid-week games for South Africa. Mark Althavan Andrews (born November 9, 1978), known professionally as Sisqó (stylized as SisQó), is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actor. He is most prominently known for "Thong Song", his membership in Dru Hill, and has also released solo material. Sisqo's successful debut solo album, ''Unleash the Dragon'' (1999), included the hit singles "Thong Song" and " Incomplete". Early life As a teen Andrews worked at The Fudgery in Harborplace at Baltimore's Inner Harbor with Larry "Jazz" Anthony, James "Woody" Green, and Tamir "Nokio" Ruffin. Mark Andrews (born 25 January 1992) is a Welsh professional wrestler and musician. He is most well known for his time in WWE where he performed on the NXT UK brand. Andrews was one of the first Welsh Champions in WWE history alongside tag team partner Flash Morgan Webster. He is also known for his time in impact Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Mandrews.
