Marjorie Deanne (January 28, 1917May 21, 1994) was an American film actress. She appeared in over 25 films between 1938 and 1943. Born Clara Pauline Boughton, modern viewers will recognize Deanne for her appearances in several Three Stooges films such as ''Violent Is the Word for Curly'', ''Dutiful But Dumb'' and ''Matri-Phony''. The Three Stooges were an American vaudeville and comedy team active from 1922 until 1970, best remembered for their 190 short subject films by Columbia Pictures. Their hallmark styles were physical farce and slapstick.
