Marjan Kolev
Marjan Kolev (born 4 April 1977) is a former Macedonian handball player who played for the North Macedonia men's national handball team, Macedonian national team. He is currently a coach in France, French club OGC Nice Côte d'Azur Handball, OGC Nice. Career As a player Kolev started out in RK Vardar, Vardar. At the club in two spells he won eight domestic titles. The club also reached the third place in the EHF Cup Winners' Cup, 1998-99 EHF Cup Winners' Cup. For two years he played for RK Tutunski Kombinat, Tutunski Kombinat Prilep who won the Macedonian Handball Cup in 2002. For the second part of 2004-05 season, he moved to Italia, Italian top club Pallamano Trieste, and stayed in Italy until the end of the season. After the italian experience, Kolev moved to Croatia, Croatian side RK Zamet, Zamet Rijeka where he played for one season finishing in sixth place with the club after championship play-offs. Kavadarci ( mk, Кавадарци ) is a town in the Tikveš region of North Macedonia. In the heart of North Macedonia's wine country, it is home to the largest winery in Southeast Europe, named after the Tikveš plain. The town of Kavadarci is the seat of Kavadarci Municipality. Situated near Kavadarci is North Macedonia's largest artificial lake, Lake Tikveš. History Classical period In the Tikveš region around Kavadarci, many artefacts and structures have been discovered dating back to prehistoric times. Bronze and ceramic artefacts were discovered at an archaeological site in the nearby town of Stobi ( mk, Стоби) dating to the 6th and 7th century BC.
