Marius Valinskas
Marius Valinskas (born 4 May 1999) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Juventus Utena of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Standing at , he plays both guard positions. Early career Prior to his professional career, Valinskas played for Kaunas-based Sabonis Basketball Center team, which played in the third-tier RKL. In 2016, he moved to BC Žalgiris-2 of the NKL, where he played for three seasons. Professional career On 30 April 2019, Valinskas was loaned to Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) until the end of the 2018–2019 season. On 21 June 2019, he signed a long-term contract with Lietkabelis. On 23 July 2021, he was released by the club. On 6 August 2022, Valinskas signed a two-year contract with Nevėžis Kėdainiai of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). On 21 June 2023, Valinskas signed a one-year deal with Juventus Utena. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The National Basketball League (NKL) (), also known as 7bet-NKL for sponsorship reasons, is the second-tier basketball minor league in Lithuania. Basketball Club Žalgiris ( lt, Krepšinio klubas Žalgiris) is a professional basketball team that is based in Kaunas, Lithuania, and competes domestically in the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL, Lithuanian Basketball League). Founded in 1944, it is one of the oldest teams in the EuroLeague. Žalgiris is one of 11 European clubs to hold long-term licenses with the EuroLeague, which provides a guaranteed place in the regular-season phase of this league. Since the 2011–12 season, Žalgiris plays its home games in Žalgiris Arena, which was built just before EuroBasket 2011. Paulius Valinskas
Paulius Valinskas (born 9 December 1995) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for FMP of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League. He is a 1.91 m (6'3") tall combo guard. Early career During the 2015–16 season with BC Žalgiris-2, Valinskas won the National Basketball League silver medals losing to BC Sūduva in the final. He averaged 14.5 points and 3.2 assists in 29 minutes of action and got the 2015–16 Most Improved Player Award. Professional career After a breakout season with Žalgiris-2, Valinskas was invited into the main Žalgiris team in the summer of 2016. During his first two years, he saw little playing time. In the 2017–18 season, he averaged 4.7 points in the LKL and 2.8 points in the Euroleague. RKL ''(Lithuanian: Regioninė Krepšinio Lyga, English: Regional Basketball League)'' is a third Lithuania basketball league. Regional Basketball League started their activity in 2005. RKL consists of 32 basketball teams from 28 Lithuania cities. Regions divided to four groups: Aukštaitija, Žemaitija, Suvalkija and center of Lithuania. Each group has eight basketball teams.
