Marisela Moreno
Marisela Moreno Montero (born August 7, 1972 in Panama City), is a Panamanian model and beauty pageant titleholder who the winner of the Señorita Panamá Mundo 1995 title. She also represented Panama in the '' 45th Miss World'' pageant, which was held at the Entertainment Centre in Sun City, South Africa on November 18, 1995. After being Miss Panama, she became one of the most successful television presenters in Panama. She is also the only Panamanian television presenter who has been the animator of the Viña del Mar Festival in 1998. Marisela Moreno is co-owner of the television production company E.Motion TV, Ad & Films, creator of the "Authentic Woman" brand ("When you are Authentic you have no competition"), and the owner of the local ''Panama Canal Zone Magazine''. She has two children and is married to Dr. Angel Vallarino, a dentist. Señorita Panamá 1995, the 13th Señorita Panamá pageant and 30th celebration of the ''Miss Panamá'' contest, was held in Atlapa Convention Centre, Teatro Anayansi Atlapa Convention Centre, Panama City, Panama, September 1995, after weeks of events. The winner of the pageant was Reyna Royo, Reyna del Carmen Royo Rivera. The pageant was broadcast live on RPC-TV Panamá. About 16 contestants from all over Panama competed for the crown. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, outgoing titleholder 'Michele Sage, Michele Jeanette Sage Navarrete of Panama City, Panama Centro crowned Reyna Royo, Reyna del Carmen Royo Rivera of Panama City, Panama Centro as the new ''Señorita Panamá''. Miss World 1995, the 45th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 November 1995 for the fourth straight year at the Sun City Entertainment Centre in Sun City, North West, Sun City, South Africa. The 1995 pageant attracted 84 delegates. The pageant was hosted by Richard Steinmetz, Jeff Trachta, and Bobbie Eakes and also involved supermodels Linda Evangelista and Beverly Peele and Bruce Forsyth who acted as presenters. Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2021 edition, its winners represent Panama in Miss International and Miss Supranational. The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative.
