Marisa Field
Marisa Field is a Canadian volleyball player who twice represented her home country in the FIVB World Championship, in 2010 and 2014. She is a member of the Canada national team. She won the 2009 & 2011 NORCECA Championship Best Blocker award and played the FIVB World Grand Prix in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Career Field studied in the University of British Columbia Okanagan and played with the Okanagan Lakers from 2004-2006, winning the British Columbia Colleges' Athletic Association All-Star the two seasons she played there. She later moved to the University of British Columbia campus of Vancouver to play for the Thunderbirds where she won the Canadian Interuniversity Sport national championship in 2008 and 2009 individually being awarded Conference First Team All-Star and CIS All-Canadian second team. and majored in Chemistry. Philippine Super Liga
The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career. The PSL also had a men's division from 2013 to 2014, although its beach volleyball tournament both have a women's and men's division since its inception. 2017 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The 2017 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the 16th edition of the annual women's volleyball tournament. It was held in two cities, Lima and Cañete, in Peru from 17 June to 25 June. Twelve teams competed in the tournament. The United States won the title when they defeated the Dominican Republic 3–1 in the final. American Micha Hancock was awarded the Most Valuable Player. Kyla Richey
Kyla Richey (born 20 June 1989) is a Canadian volleyball player. She is a member of the Canada women's national volleyball team since she made the Senior A team in 2008. Prior to that, she was a part of the Junior National team for three years from 2015-2017. Kyla is the current captain of Team Canada under head coach Tom Black. Her career is one of the longest Team Canada Women's Team stints in history competing at three consecutive World Championships. She was part of the Canadian national team at the 2010 World Championships in Japan, the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy, and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. The women's tournament of volleyball at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada began on July 16 and end on July 26. All games were held at the Exhibition Centre. The United States defeated 3-0 to Brazil, who were the defending champions. American Carli Lloyd became the Most Valuable Player.
