Guin, Alabama
Guin is a city in Marion County, Alabama, Marion County, Alabama, United States. It incorporated in December 1889. At the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census, the population was 2,195. History Guin takes its name from a young country doctor, Dr. Jeremiah ("Jerry") Guin from Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, Tuscaloosa County, who purchased the farm known then as Haley's Trading Post (where is now situate the town of Guin) from a certain John T. Jasper, Tennessee
Jasper is a town in and the county seat of Marion County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 3,612 at the 2020 census. The town was formed in 1820 from lands acquired from Betsy Pack (1770–1851), daughter of Cherokee Chief John Lowery. Jasper is part of the Chattanooga, TN– GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
