Mario Pelchat
Mario Pelchat (born 1 February 1964) is a Canadian Francophone singer from Quebec. He received the Felix Award in 1990 and 1992. Biography Pelchat was born in Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec and has performed since 1973. His first 45 RPM single was released in September 1981. His early albums include 1982's ''Je suis un chanteur'' (I Am a Singer) and ''Tu m’as fait mal'' (You hurt me) the following year. His 1988 self-titled album and 1990's ''Couleur Passion'' (The Color of Passion) attained gold record sales status. His 1992 double-platinum album ''Pelchat'' on the Sony label included a duet with Céline Dion. He also recorded with Belgian singer Maurane on his ''Pelchat 2002'' album. Pelchat has performed in various theatrical productions. He played the title role in a 1998 musical on the artist Picasso during a European tour. Dolbeau-Mistassini
Dolbeau-Mistassini is a town in northern Quebec, Canada, at the confluence of the Mistassibi River, Riviere aux Rats and the Mistassini River, on Lac Saint-Jean. Dolbeau-Mistassini is in the Maria-Chapdelaine Regional County Municipality and is the commercial hub of Lac-St-Jean with big stores and shopping centres. The city was formed in 1997 through the amalgamation of the cities of Dolbeau and Mistassini. Dolbeau is located on the right (west) bank of the Mistassini River, in the geographic township of Parent (not in the adjacent Dolbeau Township). Les Prêtres (meaning The Priests in English) is the name of a musical trio created by the initiative of Mgr Jean-Michel di Falco. The project was inspired by the success of a similar Irish musical project called The Priests. Les Prêtres has released the French chart-topping album ''Spiritus Dei'' (March 2010) on label TF1 Musique with the album certified a diamond disc for selling more than 500,000 copies. Michel Jean Legrand (; 24 February 1932 – 26 January 2019) was a French musical composer, arranger, conductor, and jazz pianist. Legrand was a prolific composer, having written over 200 film and television scores, in addition to many songs. His scores for two of the films of French New Wave director Jacques Demy, ''The Umbrellas of Cherbourg'' (1964) and ''The Young Girls of Rochefort'' (1967), earned Legrand his first Academy Award nominations.
