Mario Milita
Mario Milita (June 26, 1923 – August 22, 2017) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography An actor with a career spanning over 65 years, he became well known to the audiences for his work in Animated cartoon, animation. Because of his coarse, raspy voice, he was typically known for voicing elderly characters in cartoons, movies and other entertainment. He is most known for being the official Italian voice of Grampa Simpson in ''The Simpsons'' from 1991 until his retirement in 2012 (except for the young Abraham, voiced by the official Italian Homer Simpson, Homer voice, Tonino Accolla) . He has also been the first voice of Herbert (Family Guy), Herbert from ''Family Guy'' and gave his voice for many years to Fred Flintstone. Since 2004, however, his voice had begun to weaken over time, causing it to become feeble and almost unrecognizable in his last years of activity. Cori (ancient Cora) is a city and ''comune'' in the province of Latina, in the Lazio region of central Italy. History Cora was well developed in the age of the expansion of Rome (7th-6th century BC). It is recorded as being part of the Latin League. According to Livy, in 503 BC it sought unsuccessfully to revolt against the Roman republic, together with Suessa Pometia, and with the assistance of the Aurunci. By 495 BC Cora and Pometia are said by Livy to have been Volscian towns. Upon hearing of Volscian attempts to foment war, the Roman army marched against the Volsci, and in order to avoid war the Volsci offered three hundred children of the leading men of Cora and Suessa Pometia as hostages. Will T Hare (March 30, 1916 – August 31, 1997) was an American actor who appeared on television and films, often playing old crusty figures and father/grandpa roles. Hare was born in Elkins, West Virginia, the son of Frances Laetitia (née Satterfield) and George Thomas Hare. Career Will had appeared on stage, screen, and television since he was 15.
