Mario MartÃnez (footballer, Born 1989)
Mario Roberto MartÃnez Hernández (born 30 July 1989) is a Honduran footballer who plays as a midfielder for Marathón. Born in San Pedro Sula, MartÃnez played for the Honduras national football team from 2010 to 2018. Club career MartÃnez was spotted by Norwegian scouts during the tournament against Trinidad and Tobago and shortly after went on loan to Norwegian side, VÃ¥lerenga. He also travelled to Norway alongside U-20 teammate, Reinieri MayorquÃn who went on loan to Aalesund. MartÃnez made his debut in Tippeligaen when VÃ¥lerenga lost 3–4 against Start on 3 May 2009, but were mostly playing for VÃ¥lerenga's reserve team in the Second Division. MartÃnez only got two appearances for VÃ¥lerenga, both coming on as a substitute. San Pedro Sula () is the capital of Cortés Department, Honduras. Norwegian Second Division
The Norwegian Second Division, also called 2. divisjon and often referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons, is the third-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. There are 28 teams divided into two groups, and at the end of the season the winner of each group earns promotion to the second-highest division, 1. divisjon. The teams finishing in second place in their respective group will qualify for the promotion play-offs, where they will face each other. The winner will play against the 14th placed team in 1. divisjon for promotion.
