Clube Desportivo da Marinha de Guerra de Angola is a semi-professional basketball club from Angola. The club, based in Luanda, is attached to the Angolan Navy and an affiliate of C.D. The Universidade Lusíada de Angola, also known as U.L.A. was an Angolan semi-professional basketball team which is named after its major sponsor, the Angolan Lusíadas University. The 2016–17 BIC Basket (39th edition), Angola's top tier basketball club competition, ran from November 15, 2016 through May 25, 2017. It consists of four stages plus the playoffs.
