Marina Tauber
Marina Tauber (born 1 May 1986) is a Moldovan politician. Since 2019 she has been a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. Biography Marina Tauber was born in 1986, in Chișinău, in a family of Jewish origin. She was a high school colleague with Ilan Shor. In 2011 she graduated from the State University of Physical Education and Sport in Chișinău. She worked as tennis player and coach. Marina Tauber joined the Șor Party – then the Social-political movement "Ravnopravie" – in June 2016. She became vice president of the party shortly after Ilan Shor's election as the head of the political party. The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is the supreme representative body of the Republic of Moldova, the only state legislative authority, being a unicameral structure composed of 101 elected MPs on lists, for a period of 4 years. The Șor Party ( ro, Partidul „ȘOR”, ), known from its foundation in 1998 until October 2016 as the Socio-Political Movement "Equality" ( ro, Mișcarea social-politică „Ravnopravie”), is a populist political party in Moldova. Ilan Shor (or Șor; he, אילן שור; born 6 March 1987) is a Moldovan hideaway businessman, oligarch and politician. From July 2015 to April 2019, he served as mayor of the Moldovan city of Orhei. He owns several Moldovan businesses, including a company named ''Dufremol'' (Duty-free) and the FC Milsami football club. In 2014, he became the chairman of the board of the Savings Bank of Moldova. Personal life Shor was born in Tel Aviv, Israel on 6 March 1987, the son of Miron and Maria Shor, Moldovan Jews from Chișinău who had moved to Israel in the late 1970s.
