Marina Maximilian Blumin ( he, מארינה מקסימיליאן בלומין; born 15 December 1987), known as Marina Maximilian, is an Israeli singer-songwriter and actress. She was the runner-up on the fifth season of the reality music competition show ''Kokhav Nolad''. Early life Blumin was born in Dnipropetrovsk, Soviet Union (now Ukraine) on 15 December 1987. At the age of three, she immigrated to Israel with her parents. The family lived with friends in Ramat Gan before settling in the Pardes Katz neighbourhood of Bnei Brak. From a young age, Blumin studied piano with her mother, Ella, a classical pianist, and sang in a choir. She later went to the conservatory where her mother taught. Blumin graduated from Ironi Alef high school in Tel Aviv. She began performing at jazz clubs at the age of 15, after pianist Rick Birman took her under his wing. Dnipro, previously called Dnipropetrovsk from 1926 until May 2016, is Ukraine's fourth-largest city, with about one million inhabitants. Ruhama Raz ( he, רוחמה רז, born 1955, in Jerusalem), is an Israeli singer. Biography Raz was born in Jerusalem as Ruhama Zargari. When she was accepted to a military band she decided to change her last name to Raz. Raz served in the Central Command band (להקת פיקוד מרכז). After she finished her military service Raz participated in the 1977 Song Festival (פסטיבל הזמר והפזמון) in which she won the first place with the song " Rakefet". In 1978 Raz participated in the children's song festival (פסטיבל שירי הילדים) with the song "Yaarit". In 1979, Raz released the album "Dreams" (חלומות). Yossi Sassi (Hebrew: יוסי סאסי), born 5 February 1975) is an Israeli guitarist and producer who merges traditional and contemporary music. He is the inventor of the "bouzoukitara" musical instrument. He is known for pioneering oriental rock, as well as being the main composer, arranger, and co-founder of Orphaned Land, an Israeli progressive metal band formed in 1991.
