Marina Chernova
Marina Olegovna Chernova (russian: Марина Олеговна Чернова; born 7 March 1996) is a Russian female acrobatic gymnast. With her partner, Revaz Gurgenidze, Chernova came 1st in the 2014 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships. With her partner Georgii Pataraia, Chernova came 1st at the 2016 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships The 2016 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships was the 25th edition of acrobatic gymnastics competition and were held in Putian, China from April 1 to April 3, 2016. Acrobatic Gymnastics
Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive gymnastic discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform figures consisting of acrobatic moves, dance and tumbling, set to music. There are three types of routines; a 'balance' routine (at FIG grade 5 and above) where the focus is on strength, poise and flexibility; a 'dynamic' routine (also FIG grade 5 and above) which includes throws, somersaults and catches, and (at FIG grade 6 and above, as well as grade 4 and below) a 'combined' routine which includes elements from both balance and dynamic. The sport is governed by the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG, an abbreviation of Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique). At international level, there are four FIG categories of competition defined by age; 11–16, 12–18, 13–19, and 15+ (Senior). Revaz Gurgenidze
Revaz Gurgenidze (born July 9, 1986) is a Russian male acrobatic gymnast. With his partner Anna Katchalova, he achieved silver in the 2004 World Sports Acrobatics Championships and gold in the 2006 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships. With his partner Tatiana Okulova, he achieved silver in the 2010 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships and 2012 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships. He and his partner, Marina Chernova, achieved gold in the 2014 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships.
